Kalanamak Rice is a GI-tagged heritage rice variety, recognised under GI Tag No. 205, originating from the Siddharthnagar region of Uttar Pradesh. Known for its distinctive aroma, soft texture, and cultural significance, Kalanamak Rice represents one of India’s traditional rice varieties.
Amalfarm works with farmer communities in the region to source authentic Kalanamak Rice directly from its native growing area.
Mithila Makhana – Bihar
Mithila Makhana, recognised under GI Tag No. 696, is sourced from the Mithila region of Bihar. This regional specialty has been cultivated and processed by local communities for generations and is widely used in traditional recipes and festive preparations.

Vengurla Cashew – Sindhudurg, Maharashtra
Vengurla Cashew, recognised under GI Tag No. 489, originates from the coastal district of Sindhudurg in Maharashtra. Known for its creamy texture and distinctive flavour, it represents one of India’s recognised regional cashew varieties.
Waigaon Turmeric – Wardha, Maharashtra
Waigaon Turmeric, recognised under GI Tag No. 471, is a traditional turmeric variety cultivated in the Wardha region of Maharashtra. It is known for its distinctive characteristics and regional identity.
